Zorica Pavlović

has been part of Georgia Academy of Music since 2013. She has been teaching voice and piano to students as young as 3 years old all the way to senior adults who are interested in trying something new. Her musical training comes from Eastman School of Music where she has received her Master of Music and Georgia State University where received her Bachelor of Music degree in voice performance. She has performed with the number of organizations including the Atlanta Opera, Charlottesville Opera, Eastman Opera Theater, Harrower Opera Workshop, Atlanta Camerata, Brasstown Concert Association, New Trinity Baroque, Christ Church Schola Cantorum in Rochester, NY, Eastman Collegium Musicum, and Rochester Chamber Orchestra. With the strong interest for early music, Ms. Pavlovic was featured as a soloist at the Piccolo Spoleto Festival, Amherst Early Music Festival, Queens College Baroque Opera Summer Workshop, Haymarket Opera Summer Workshop and Belgrade Early Music Festival among others. Some of the roles performed include Eurilla in Handel’s Il Pastor Fido, Virtue and Poppea in Monteverdi’s Il Coronazione di Poppea, Dorinda in Orlando, Eurydice in Rossi’s Orfeo, and Diane in La Diane De Fontaineblau. She is a member of vocal ensemble Concordia based in the Atlanta area that specializes in Renaissance Polyphony. Individuality is the key quality she recognizes in each of her students and her approach is to encourage every student to express themselves in their own unique way while aiming to do their best in exploring, developing and recognizing their musical talents.
